Experimental Floss: Emerging Artist showcase

When one hears the term “experimental music” what do you think of? Come and shatter those expectations and support people of all ages in learning how to take risks, try new things and be a part of in-the-moment music and sound making. Life unfolds as we go, so why not music too?

Steve Wright, musician, songwriter, performer, and instructor will produce the showcase. He operates The Sound in Sechelt – a place for music discovery and performance. Steve has worked with groups with diverse styles ranging from indie punk, electronic noise, and acoustic ensembles. He currently works as a sound and music workshop instructor for all age groups as well as a sound artist for radio.  He also performs solo and with various musicians and groups on the Sunshine Coast.
